NOVEA is a minimal cybersecurity notebook. No ads, no tracking, no noise — just practical notes from the field: hardening, defense, and reducing what attackers can see.

What to expect

  • Practical guides: Linux hardening, exposure reduction, defense engineering.
  • Short, opinionated, and actionable. No vendor pitches.
  • Everything tested before it is published.

Principles

  • Process over products. Tools expire; habits compound.
  • Shrink the surface. The best defense is invisibility.
  • Verify, then trust. Starting with your own infrastructure.

Field notes

Some posts are hands-on and terminal-heavy — nftables rules, tcpdump one-liners, SSH tunnels. Each one is written from a box I actually configured, not from a man page. Commands are included so you can run them yourself; read them twice before you paste them into production.
